Happy Hellos card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all!
Today's Sweet Happy Hellos Kitty card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful Satin Delicate Stitched ribbon along with the beautiful flowers that RRR carries. Love all the different flowers mixed on my card for today. I had fun creating this sweet kitty card, with the 3 layers, and the bows.

On my card I chose to use the sweetheart blossoms, mini sweetheart blossoms, rose bud in pink, and the carnation flower. I love the mix of colors, sometimes its hard to choose what ones to use, but this time I just went for it....heheehe

The bows were made using the Light Coral Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon, and then I also used the 3-D foam squares, and Scotch Refill ATG tape to put my card and layers together.

The dies are all from Cheery Lynn, and love using these!
The stamp is SU! its a oldie but goody.....hehehee

And lastly I added some sewing to each layer.

A Perfect Day Shaker Tag Magnet

Hello there friends and happy Thursday to all of you! Today I'm not sharing a card. No really. I actually made a magnet. Well I didn't make the magnet...I just glued stuff to it. And by stuff I mean a lot of stuff...and a shaker.
Isn't this the sweetest collection? It's Miss Betty and I love it so much! Also the inside is a shaker so that's more funner.

I added some pretty vintagy lace to the bottom of the tag for an extra grandma chic touch.

The perfect chevron bow to coordinate with the die cut flowers.
The back has a magnet so this sweet little tag can be used on the fridge to hang up the coupons and school pics and other important necessities.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day :  ) G

Blessed Beyond Measure Ribbon Necklace

Adding a pretty ribbon and lace chain to your favorite pendent is easy using Really Reasonable Ribbons.  This soldered pendent is near and dear to me because the sweet girl is my mom as a child.
I combined the Tan Leather Seam Binding and the Debra Natural Crochet Lace to form the chain of the necklace.
I choose the cream tones, but why not grab a few ribbon and lace choices and mix and match with your outfit?  Every time I wear this necklace, I am reminded that I am blessed beyond measure that the Mom God blessed me with.

Wishing you a creative day, dear friends.

What's the Buzz? Queen Bee Mixed Media Card

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  Spring must well and truly be coming, because I spotted my first buzzing bumblebee yesterday! He was just hanging out on the deck, catching some rays.  It did my heart good to see him, and it also inspired me to make this Queen Bee Mixed Media Card with beautiful Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I happen to love bees, so any time I see bee themed crafting goodies, they have a tendency to wind up in the Closet of Shame. This 5" x 7" mixed media card features a digital image from our very own Ginny along with some bee themed papers I found a while back.

Maize Taffeta Ribbon and 3/8" Black Quatrefoil Print Satin add just the right pop of color and texture to this collage.

Pockets filled with sweet treat can be found inside the card.

I've topped this Staples Square tag with more of the Black Quatrefoil Print Satin ribbon, Burlap String Bow and some sweet WOC Open Roses. Crocheted lace adds another textural element to this mixed media collage tag.

Then I created a little tea wallet to tuck in the upper pocket.  This darling journal card is another digital image from Polly's Paper.

Here's a great way to use up those little leftover pieces of ribbon.  I've hot glued them under the vintage button!  It adds such a nice finishing touch, and gives a ribbon scrap a new life. And if you're making a bee themed card, you'd better include a honey stick to go with the tea, right?

All this talk of bees and honey and tea has caused me to crave a cuppa!  Thanks for stopping by!

Movie Night Tag

Hi RRR friends! I hope you are doing well! For my project today, I've made a fun little "movie night" tag! I hope you enjoy! 😊
This tag was put together on a whim because I wanted to use up some of the paper scraps and other leftover do-dads on my craft desk. So I went to town with nothing particular in mind and this is what came of it. I looped a beautiful piece of 5/8" Satin with Grosgrain Edge Poppy Red through a gold eyelet hole at the top and tied it at the base with a small piece of Metallic String Gold. I think it would fun to attach this tag to a movie theater gift card or even a set of movie tickets and give as a gift for any occasion or just because!
That's all for me! Thank you so much for stopping by and until next time, happy crafting!

Celebrate Card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! I do hope you all had a very Blessed Easter! My card today was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using their beautiful ribbons, flowers, and embellishments. This card could also be SPRING, by adding a different sentiment.

On my card I picked the Taffeta pink ribbon and the Satin Blue Topaz Argyle Print to make my ribbon treatment. Next I picked some large and small flowers to use. I love all the soft colors together, and the sweetheart blossoms and carnations look so pretty together and work perfectly with the design paper here. The bunnies and eggs were fussy cut from the design paper, and popped up using foam squares. Each layer is also popped up by using lots of foam 3-D tabs. The die cuts are all Cheery Lynn, and worked perfectly with the sweet sentiment from ODBD. Love how sweet this card turned out!

Celebrate Today Greeting Card

Hey there and happy Monday! I hope you all enjoyed a nice holiday with your family. We had our kids and their significant others over for a casual meal and a little basketball.  I like holidays to be simple and easy : )

I'm here today to share a Birthday greeting card I created with the Ribbon Club Assortment for April.

This is a lovely earthy collection just perfect for summer and beachy projects.
I selected two of the ribbons and the lace for this card. I think it coordinates with the paper collection perfectly.
To achieve the fullness in the bow that I usually get with thicker ribbons I simply added another loop set so it will be nice and poofy.

The inside of the card is finished with the same layered papers as the outside.
For this layered ribbon look I wanted the color of the grosgrain ribbon but not the busy polka dot pattern so I simply added it upside down. These fabby flowers are the  Chrysanthemums and the Mixed Peach Cottage Roses.  Last but not least two tiny loopy bows created with Natural Burlap String are tucked into the arrangement.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) Ginny

It Must Be Love

Hello blog friends, and thanks for stopping by today.  It's Karen Letchworth sharing a card that was inspired by my talented teammate, Ginny, who shared a similar card back in February on her sweet blog, Polly's Paper Studio.  Her card also used a similar chicken wire background (hers was wood), and some sweet little prills (along with lots of great products from Really Reasonable Ribbon, of course).  The card she created that inspired mine was all done up in deep purples, but I chose to do mine in pink because, so far, I only have pink prills.  This is another thing on my ever-growing list of crafty items to buy.   LOL  If you click on Ginny's Blog link, you can see her sweet purple card that inspired me.  Really Reasonable Ribbon helped me make mine uniquely beautiful as well!
I started this card with a piece of softly muted pink polka dot patterned paper from Crate Paper.  Next, I cut the chicken wire background from pink Bazzill using a die-cut, and placed that on top of the patterned paper.    Carefully using clear craft glue and a tooth pick, I delicately attached my pink prills here and there on the chicken wire until I achieved my desired look.  I found this cute vintage looking journalling card among my Crate Paper scraps, and chose to use it.  My next step was to use some ivory acrylic paint to cover the wooden clock and clock hands, and then I attached them  by again using some clear craft glue.  Once all that was in place.....the fun part began.....adding the Really Reasonable Ribbon touches.
I started with a bow that I tied using a length of Textured Tow-Tone Pink Ribbon, and then I added some Baby Pink Double Head Stamens, a White Double Head Stamen, some Black Double Head StamensCotton Candy Baker's Twine, and a piece of 3/8" Black & White Gingham Ribbon.  I tucked in a sweet Small Green & White Paper Mulberry Leaf, and I topped it all with two 10mm Black Open End Roses and one Two-Tone Pink & Ivory Open End Rose.  I also tucked in a pink leaf stick pin, and hung a rusty pear-shaped safety pin that holds a small die-cut heart tag stamped with "Love".  Everything is inked with Hickory Smoke and Spun Sugar Tim Holtz Distress Inks.
You know.....I realize that I say this all the time, but it's true!   You can literally take any piece of paper (or papers) and add a few sweet ribbons, trims, flowers, etc. from Really Reasonable Ribbon....and the next thing you have something wonderful.  You really will LOVE their wonderful products.  I just adore the way Really Reasonable Ribbon's products made this card look.  And I know you will love your new products, too.  So why not treat yourself today?   Some Double Head StamensBaker's TwineFlowers and Ribbons are just what you need.   Check out everything now at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  And have fun doing it!

Easter Paper Bag Pocket with Tags and Treats

Hello, Ribbon Lovers!  It's almost Easter, but there's still time to create this super fun Easter Paper Bag Pocket with Tags and treats!

I love brown paper lunch sacks!  With just a few folds, you can turn one into a card with pockets, a mini album, or a triple decker Easter Treat Pocket like this one.

I also love a pink and yellow color palette for Easter!  This 3/4" Yellow Chevron Striped Twill Ribbon, Hot Pink Quatrefoil Print Satin Ribbon and Natural Burlap String just make this entire project pop!  Throw in some bodacious WOC Pink Chrysanthemums, Earth Tone Open Roses,  English Roses, and Sweetheart Blossoms, and you've got a garden that the Easter Bunny will want to hang out in!

Each pocket is filled with lovely little surprises like these decorated string tie envelopes and itty bitty tag.

I also made a tall tag  and tucked some M&M's into the 4" x 6" string tie envelope.

So if you have some brown paper lunch sacks lying around, get them out and dress them up for Easter!

Thanks for stopping by!

Heart Shaped Baby Album

Hi friends and happy Friday!  Linsey here today sharing my latest RRR project with you. I painted and decorated this heart-shaped chipboard album and gave it a baby theme. I hope you enjoy!
I painted the chipboard pieces all pink, then used baby-to-bride paper collection to decorate the front and back covers and inside pages. All the flowers are from RRR as well. For the front cover, I used May Arts Burlap String Natural on the buttons. A bit of Elastic Double Ruffles Ribbon White and a scrap piece of Vanessa White Crochet Lace were tied to the metal band that holds all the pages to together. They added a nice effect with the monogrammed tag and hot pink faux leather tassel. The flowers I used include WOC Mixed Pink/White Sweetheart Blossoms, White Cosmos Daisy Stems, and 2-Tone Light Turquoise Open Roses.
Thanks so very much for visiting today! Have a wonderful weekend and as always, happy crafting!
